Police: Man crashes into Marshfield house, tells responding officers 'I'm drunk'

This SUV driven by a 32-year-old Marshfield man crashed into a house in Marshfield.

MARSHFIELD - A 32-year-old Marshfield man drove into a house in the 300 block of East 14th Street Monday morning.

The man was still in the driver's seat of his SUV when officers responded shortly after 7 a.m. and he told officers, "I'm drunk," as they attempted to get him out of the vehicle,  according to a report from the Marshfield Police Department.

The man said he had been drinking whiskey and officers did notice a smell of alcohol, according to the report.

The driver was injured in the crash and was transported to Marshfield Medical Center. He did submit to a blood draw, the report said.
